Replenishments
v24.24, JWM-1313
Overview
Pick Face Replenishment provides tools for managing Pick Face locations within the warehouse. It provides the ability to define dedicated Pick Face areas with smaller quantities of stock that can be replenished from other stock held within the warehouse. Unlike the existing Relocation functionality, Replenishment allows for automated creation of Replenishment Jobs which are triggered when Pick Face location stock on hand is reduced to/below its defined threshold. Pick Face Replenishment Jobs can also be created manually from WMS > Operations > Track Stock and then completed using JAIX SmartSCAN devices. AdHoc Replenishments can also be completed directly using SmartSCAN Devices. Stage one of Replenishments in 24.24.0 allows for full pallet replenishments only, with split pallet replenishments to follow in 24.25.0.

Pick Face
A storage type that is applied to Pick Face locations to enable greater control of stock allocations.

Replenishment Configuration for Automated Replenishment Jobs
WMS > Operations > Replenishments > Replenishment Configuration Open the Replenishment Configuration Search and List Grid and select new to add a new Replenishment Configuration.
Replenishment Configuration
Enabled
Allows for Replenishment configurations to be enabled/disabled as required. A disabled Replenishment Configuration will not automatically create a Replenishment job when conditions are met, but is maintained in the disabled view from the Replenishment Configuration S&L grid so that it can be re-enabled when required. Replenishment Configurations can be enabled/disabled in bulk using the Batch Action tools for selected or marked grid rows
Site
When logged into the Head Office branch, Replenishment Configurations can be viewed/managed for all active WMS warehouses. All other branches will only allow management and visibility over the logged in branch.

Product
Select the product that the Replenishment Configuration applies to
Location
Select the Pick Face Location that the stock is to be replenished to.
Threshold
Enter the Quantity and Select the Unit of measure for the Replenishment Configuration. When the SOH is reduced to the Threshold, or below a Replenishment Job will be automatically created. The Unit of Measure will display for all config sets that exist for the product selected.
Target
Enter the Target Capacity for the Pick Face. When a Replenishment Job is picked up on the device the quantity required to meet the Target will be calculated from the existing SOH in the Pick Face at the time the job is started. Once again, the UOM will display all UOMs for all Config Sets that exist for a product
Once Replenishment Configurations have been created and remain enabled, Pick Face locations will be monitored for changes in SOH and a replenishment job will be automatically created when confirmed actions (e.g. Pick, Relocations, Adjustments) reduce the pick face stock on hand to the threshold or below. Configurations can be enabled/disabled using the Search and List grid bulk actions to allow for changing pick face stock requirements. Once Replenishments Jobs have been created, they can be completed using a SmartSCAN device.
Replenishments Search & List
Replenishment Jobs can be viewed and created from the Replenishment Job Search & List Grid, at Operations > Replenishments > Search/List. All auto created Jobs will show here and Jobs can also be manually created.
To create a new Replenishment Job, select New from the Replenishment Job Search/List Pop up toolbar.

Custom Pick Allocation Priority for Reserve & Pick Face (JWM-722)
WMS > Customers > Main > Customers > [Customer Record] > WMS - General > Custom Pick Allocation Priority
A Custom Pick Allocation Priority has been added to Customer Records to allow for more logical allocation of Pick Dockets to better utilise Replenishment functionality. This option will ensure that the system uses more intelligence when allocating orders to ensure that Picks do not occur from the Pick Face or other Licence Plates in reserve when they would be better supplied by a more suitable licence plate that matches the exact quantity required. For this logic to function correctly the new rule will need to be the first priority, so once enabled it will move to the top of the list and will be unable to be moved down, however further priorities can be enabled and ordered below this rule.
Picks allocated under this priority will use the following rules...
Look at LPs with no existing allocations against them.
Allocate full Picks from reserve stock as a priority. E.g. for each Pick quantity, look for Licence Plates that match the required quantity EXACTLY - e.g. a full Pick of that entire Licence Plate.
Do this until such point as the remaining Pick quantity is less than the smallest Licence Plate quantity available in the reserve stock (e.g. only take full Licence Plates/Handling Units, no part Picks).
For this remaining quantity - begin allocation from the Pick Face.
If insufficient quantity is available in the Pick Face, do not allocate from Pick Face but revert to allocating the remaining quantity from the entire warehouse where the LP quantity is greater than or equal to the remaining Pick quantity.
Finally, if insufficient on a single LP revert to using standard logic, including other allocation priorities setup for that customer (e.g. FIFO). Note that this may then pick from the Pick Face under standard logic, but that is ok.
At each point in the above allocation rules, if there are multiple suitable matches returned, existing Pick Allocation Priority rules would apply within that selection of suitable matches.
Stage 2 Replenishment Functionality allows for Part Handling Quantity Replenishments to take place, while still maintaining tracking of all product references, e.g. Batch, Serial, Date Requirements, References etc. To maintain the tracking a new LPN will need to be assigned to any stock that is split from its Parent LPN.
New License Plate Numbers and labels can be generated and printed/exported from within WMS from WMS > Tools > License Plates > Generate.
Simply set the number of required labels to print or export.
The standard label is an A5 Label with the LPN QR barcode and number, with some space for annotation if required.
Custom forms can be created at WMS > Tools > System Setup > Main > Form Manager > Stock > License Plate A5 Label, or if preferred, the list can be exported and sent to an external printer to have labels created in any required format.
