24.26.0 JF-4245
Overview
Security Seal functionality in JAIX Freight has been updated to support Trailer Loads.
This enhancement ensures improved tracking and security by integrating seal management into the Linehaul Console workflow. Users can now record, verify, and audit security seals associated with Trailer Loads. Use of Security Seals will assist with preventing unauthorized access, misplacement, and tampering of trailer contents.
Key benefits include:
Enhanced security tracking for trailer loads.
Integrated validation with manifests and delivery records.
Streamlined reporting through the Manifest Discrepancy Reporting tool.
Setup
Enable Security Seal Tracking:
JAIX Freight > System Setup > Distribution
Enable Manifest Security Seals

Functionality
JAIX Freight > Distribution > Trailer Load
Adding a Security Seal to a Trailer Load

Click the Security Seals button
Select the Allocated Trailer Asset and its corresponding Code

Verifying Security Seals
On arrival of a Trailer Load to the Destination Depot, Freight Users can re-enter the Security Codes.
If any numbers do not match the values that were entered on departure, the system will generate a Manifest Discrepancy.
Users can view discrepancies through the MDR window on the Manifest or via the Manifest Discrepancy Report.
Manifest Discrepancy Reporting
JAIX Freight > Distribution > Reports > Manifest Discrepancy Report
This report is crucial for tracking all Manifest Discrepancies including those related to Security Seals. The Reporting Code filter can be used to filter by SSAL - Security Seal Alerts only if required.
