Rating per Pallet Space

Overview

JAIX Freight allows users to rate Consignments by Pallet Space. This value can be set per consignment detail line and will then correlate to the appropriate customer Break Rates and Lanes. To activate this feature we need to customise the columns in the consignment grid to show Pallet Space, and change the customer Break Rates to charge for Pallet Space.

Functionality

JAIX Freight > Customers > Customer Rates > Search & Setup

Open the Customer Rates you wish to activate Pallet Spaces for

Navigate to the Breaks section and select "Add Unit"

Within the "Rated As" column, select "Pallet Spaces ($/Space)"

Remember to enter a "Pallet Space Equiv" value

Navigate to the Lanes section and set your charges based on Pallet Space per Service / Lane

JAIX Freight > Freight > Consignments > Search & List

The "PS" column can now be added to all relevant grids. Open a consignment and right click the header row to open the "Column Chooser".

Scroll down until you see "PS" and drag it to where you would like the column to appear in the grid.
