Prompt for POD Image functionality

JAIX Driver allows users to take POD photos when completing a delivery. These POD photos are used in the same way as POD images scanned via the Imaging functionality in JAIX.

As of 24.25.3, JAIX Driver users can take multiple POD photos and attach them to a Consignment or Job.

Settings required

Prompt for POD Image:

This setting is located in Admin > System > Entity List > Mobility > Driver and controls whether the Driver user is asked to take a POD photo during the delivery complete process.

Force Photo Capture On Delivery:

This setting is also located in Admin > System > Entity List > Mobility > Driver and forces the user to take a POD photo during the delivery complete process. This setting can only be enabled when the Prompt for POD Image is enabled.

Functionality

When a JAIX Driver user completes the SOG process of a Consignment or Job, they will be presented with the POD image prompt.

Force Photo Capture On Delivery:

Users will be presented with the POD images screen. The camera icon will open the devices camera app, allowing the user to take a POD photo.

Once the user has taken the photo, it will be displayed on the POD images screen, and the user can swipe across to the camera icon to take more photos.

Once the user has completed taking POD photos, they can press the Done button to complete the delivery. The POD photos will attach to the Consignment or Job in JAIX Freight.

As POD photos taken from Driver are treated the same as POD photos scanned in via Imaging, they will display in Portal, Freight and EDI emails.
