JAIX WMS - Quarantine

Overview

Quarantine can be applied either to a license plate or a location. To set up a location as quarantine you need to open Warehouse setup and drill down to bin level and enable the Quarantine Checkbox. Whenever a license plate is moved into a location flagged as quarantine it will be placed under quarantine, and release once it is moved out.

You can also enable Quarantine for all incoming stock for a Debtor on the customer record. All stock that is confirmed on a put docket would be confirmed under quarantine and would need to be released from the put docket, stock track or adjustments screen.

Any stock that is under quarantine will show in orange text on the pick docket allocations screen. There is an option in Tools System Setup to disable pick of Quarantine stock. If this is enabled, you will be able to allocate the stock by typing a value into allocations screen against the Quarantined line, but you won't be able to confirm it until you release the stock from Quarantine.

We also have the ability to place all items on a docket under Quarantine without having the Debtor set to Auto Quarantine all incoming stock.

Tools > System Setup

Customer Record

Location Setup (drill down to bin level)

Or access via WMS 'Quick Settings' for Bulk edit of Location Setup

Put Dockets

On Put Dockets for Debtors enabled for Auto Quarantine incoming stock there is an extra button on the toolbar to Quarantine / release the stock. (or all put dockets from 20.15)

Pick Dockets

Stock that is held under Quarantine will be displayed in orange. These products can be allocated, and confirmation is allowed or disallowed as per the global 'Disable Pick of Quarantine Stock' flag in WMS  > Tools > System Setup

Allocated Quarantine will show as purple with a blue background.
