JAIX WMS - Portal and Multi Site Management

Overview

Where multiple Warehousing sites are within close proximity of each other there are scenarios that arise where an order created in one branch, may be required to be fulfilled from a neighbouring branch. Further to this, when Customers are placing orders from the Online Portal, it may be of no relevance to the Customer which Warehouse the order is fulfilled from so the ability to hide site selection on the Portal and select a Primary Site for order fulfilment, with the ability to transfer the order to another branch is available.

Portal Options

Hide Site Selection

The ability to hide Site Selection is controlled from Jaix Admin> Tools > System Setup>Online. Enabling this option will remove the Site Selection Dropdown from the Portal if the Debtor has a Primary Site Enabled. If no Primary Site is selected the Site Selection Dropdown will still be displayed.

Customer Setup

Primary Site Selection

In WMS> Customer> Customer Record > WMS-Warehouses select the Primary Site from the Drop Down and enable "Primary Site". When selected and the all orders created for this Customer will be created in the Primary Branch, with options available from within the pick docket to move the order to another branch. Please refer to info sheet WMS Backorders for more information on this functionality.

Docket Item SOH Reporting

Available SOH for Product Detail Lines

When adding docket lines to an order current available SOH is reported for the selected Pick Unit of Measure. Available SOH is reported as Total SOH less reserved stock for the selected site, or if the Hide Site Selection option is enabled SOH will show total holdings across all Sites.
