Improvement of Portal Password Security and Autonomous Reset Function

Overview
This manual provides detailed instructions on new functionality relating to user password management in JAIX Portal. These enhancements emphasize improved security measures and user autonomy in managing their passwords. Users can now easily reset their passwords and update their contact information, ensuring a more secure and user-friendly experience.
Setup
Debtors > Online Users
Updating Contact Information:
Select an Online User
Enter the email address in the provided field.
Enter the mobile phone number in the provided field.
Save changes to update the contact information.
Sender/Receivers > Online Access
Updating Contact Information:
Enter the email address in the provided field.
Enter the mobile phone number in the provided field.
Save changes to update the contact information.
Functionality
Password Reset Functionality
Portal Passwords can now be reset to an automatically generated password from within Accounts and Freight. When passwords are reset in this manner, the next Portal login will force a password reset.
This Reset Password function can be called from both the Debtor Online Login and Sender Receiver Forms.
Clicking the Copy icon will store the password in the clipboard
Portal Passwords can be reset by the Portal User, allowing them to manage their own contact details and online passwords.
Profile Page
Access the new 'Profile' page by clicking the hyperlink next to the Logout button.
On this page, users can update their email, mobile phone number, and reset their password.
Password Reset Workflow
Navigate to the 'Profile' page.
Click on the 'Reset Password' button.
Enter the new password twice (clipboard paste disabled for the second field).
Save changes to update the password.
Users flagged for 'Force Password Reset on Next Login' will be redirected to the Password Reset page upon their next login.
Forgot Password Workflow:
Link on the login page.
Users enter their email to receive a reset link.
Reset page to update the password using the link received via email.
