Custom Photo Requirements (CPRs)
24.25.2 MMB-1200
Overview
The Custom Photo Requirements (CPR) feature in JAIX is designed to enhance photo documentation during Pickup and Delivery tasks performed by Drivers. This feature allows JAIX Admin users to define specific photo capture tasks that drivers must complete for each Pickup or Delivery. The photos taken are then attached to the relevant Pickup or Delivery for visibility within JAIX Freight and the JAIX Customer Portal.
Setup
JAIX Admin - Setup JAIX Admin > Entity List > Mobility > JAIX Driver
A new Default Custom Photo Capture flag has been added. This flag is disabled by default as this is a licensed feature. Please contact JAIX to enable this feature.

The Default Custom Photo Capture flag has three options.
Disabled (default)
Must be enabled by JAIX on request.
Per Consignment Quantity
Will force the Driver to satisfy the set of CPRs multiple times based on the Consignment’s Total Quantity.
E.g. If a Consignment Total Quantity = 10 and 3 CPRs have been configured for Pickups, the Driver will be forced to take 10 sets of 3 photos (i.e. 30 photos in total).
Per Consignment
Will force the Driver to take a single set of photos for the consignment
E.g. If a Consignment Total Quantity = 10 and 3 CPRs have been configured for Pickups, the Driver will be forced to take 1 set of 3 photos (i.e. 3 photos in total)

Once the Default Custom Photo Requirement is set, the Custom Photo Requirements table will show. This table allows users to define specific photo capture tasks that drivers must complete.
Each Custom Photo Requirement includes the following:
Code (15 Character Limit).
This code will be incorporated into the filename of any photos taken against this item. Validation will restrict characters in this field to those permissible in filenames.
Must be unique within the Entity.
Driver Instruction (150 Character Limit).
A multi-line, free text field to describe the task for which the photo is required. The instructions written in this field will be displayed as read-only in JAIX Driver.
On Pickup & On Delivery:
Specify if this Requirement is for a Pickup, Delivery or Both.
JAIX Freight > Tools > System Setup > Branches > JAIX PUD Options
If the default CPR setting is enabled in Admin, it can be disabled at Branch level (i.e. disable for a single Branch). If disabled for a Branch, Custom Photo Capture functionality will be hidden.
Functionality
JAIX Driver
Single Pickup or Delivery
During completion of a Pickup or Delivery, JAIX Driver will display Driver Instructions for each CPR in the set.
All Requirements are displayed in the order set and can be scrolled up and down
The Camera icon is displayed on the 1st CPR to the right of the Driver Instructions
The Driver must take a photo for the 1st CPR before moving on to the next CPR
Upon completion of each CPR the camera icon moves to the next CPR
JAIX Driver will be updated via a push notification with any CPR overrides made in the Runsheet Setup screen after Allocation
The Driver must navigate out of the job completion workflow to see the update
The Consignment No. and progress (E.g. 1 of 3) is displayed at the top of the list
The Camera icon links to the device's native photo capture interface. This allows the Driver to capture, review and accept or re-take the photo
Once the Driver has accepted the photo it is attached to the Pickup/Delivery and a new photo cannot be taken for the current CPR

Multi-Select Pickup or Delivery
When the Driver is completing multiple Pickups or Deliveries, the set of CPRs will be displayed for each selected Pickup or Delivery.
The Driver will follow the same CPR process as for a Single Pickup or Delivery.

JAIX Freight
The CPR photos will be visible in JAIX Freight using the current Consignment Attachments functionality
The photos will follow the naming convention: {ConsignmentNumber}_{PUPorDEL}_{Code}_{PROGRESSNO.} (Eg CN123_PUP_FRONTPRINT_1of3.jpeg)
Important Note: As all photos will be stored as Consignment Attachments, they will be included in any EDI Export that includes Attachments.

JAIX Freight > Distribution > Runsheets > Open existing Runsheet
Overriding default setting via the Runsheet Setup screen
Visibility of the default CPR Setting applied when allocated is available for each Pickup or Delivery via the Runsheet Setup screen.
A new Photo Req. column has been added to the Runsheet form where a user can override the Default CPR Setting.
