ABN and ACN - New Zealand (NZ) Validation

Overview

JAIX Accounts will now validate all ABN and ACN fields based on either the Australian format or the New Zealand format. This allows greater flexibility when entering ABN and ACN values within Debtor, Creditor and Subcontractor records in JAIX Accounts.

Functionality

Navigate to JAIX Accounts > Tools > System Setup > Company Details

ABN will now allow two validation methods:

1. Australian – 11 digit numerical value
2. New Zealand – 13 digit numerical value

ACN will now allow two validation methods:

1. Australian – 9 digit numerical value
2. New Zealand – 7 digit numerical value

Note:

The characters entered must be numerical, and the length must equal one of the listed quantities.

This new field validation has been added to the following records within JAIX Accounts:

• * Debtors
• Creditors
• Subcontractors
• System Setup
• Payees
