121 Pickup Complete on Manifest Depart Event

Overview

It’s possible to Load Plan a 121 Consignment prior to Pickup Complete if the Consignment is Allocated to a Trailer Load and that Trailer Load is Allocated to a Manifest.

When that Linehaul Manifest is marked as Departed, the Allocated Consignment linked Pickup will be marked as Complete. This is to ensure that 121 Pickups are being Completed and no Status validation issues occur when attempting to Invoice Locked Consignments.

Setup

Jaix Freight > Tools > System Setup > Consignments >

121’s must be enabled within the system.

Jaix Admin > System > Entity Setup >

PUP/CN Syncing must be disabled within the system.

Functionality

The only way to get an Admin Status = Locked Consignment on a Manifest is via a Trailer Load.

Jaix Freight > Freight >

Create 121 Consignment.

Consignment Admin Status will be set as Locked.

Locked Consignments cannot be Invoiced.

Jaix Freight > Distribution > Trailer Loads >

Allocate Locked Consignment to Trailer Load

Jaix Freight > Distribution > Manifests >

Allocate Trailer Load to Linehaul Manifest

Mark the Manifest as Departed

It’s possible NOT to Depart a Manifest if LHC is not being used (Can move straight to Arrived).

Auto Pickup Completion requires this step in order to Complete the Pickup automatically.

As part of the Manifest Depart function, a check is performed for Locked 121 Consignments.

The Pickup Complete event will be performed for each Locked Consignment.

• Consignment Admin Status will be moved to Validated

• Pickup Status will be moved to Departed Sender

• Pickup Admin Status will be moved to Complete

• EDI Exports based on Pickup Complete will be raised
